Position:  Full Time Mason

Position Summary:

The Masonry crew is responsible for the installation of building materials that include, but are not limited to, concrete pavers, natural stone flagging, paver block walls, wet laid concrete walls, stone and brick veneer, Belgium block curbs and inlays, concrete walkways and curbs, outdoor kitchens, etc.

Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Show up on time each and every day ready to work
• Be able to take direction from Foreman and Project Managers and Designers
• Ability to install dry laid and wet laid paver and natural stone patios
• Ability to install dry laid and wet laid paverblock and natural stone retaining walls
• Ability to veneer walls, kitchens, etc. with stone veneer, brick, or stucco
• Ability to install Belgium block curbing and inlays
• Ability to install concrete walkways and curbing
• Experience with masonry tools such as demo saws, wet saw, compactors, etc.
• Experience installing basic drainage systems
• Understands local and state building codes
• Promptly develop solutions to issues that arise
• Provide industry knowledge to the rest of the crew
• Conduct yourself in a professional manner in the office and in the field
• Keep work truck and trailer clean at all times

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3+ years working as mason or bricklayer
• Bi-lingual English a plus
• Ability to read plans a plus
• Driver license preferred, but not required
• Ability to operate machinery, such as an excavator, is a plus
